u guys should be in brissy...so many up here too...in my street alone there are 5 old dubs... I have two, theres a blue baja, a navy blue 60s and a
white 71 from what i can see....
i love these cars...and thats not in cluding the dailies I see driving my girl to school...
dubless.

I still see the usual 'Dirty Dozen Dubs' a week... with a few immaculate ones thrown in. Not many waves though. 
This morning around 7:30 or so I saw a Carerra kit deep purple Beetle as he turned left off Toorak rd onto Warrigal rd. Nice!

yeah, I didn't think it looked like you.... she looked sorta similar, but she was wearing glasses (the chick driving, not the bug)
And, now that I look at your pics again, she has WAAAAY less bling than your Pretty Blue Blinged up Bug.

hehehe, that's the plan, though this blue bug isn't staying, she is the organ donor for tinkerbeetles new heart..
But the long term plan is to get a splittie, I think I've talked mr_hip into it.
(it's only taken me 8 years to finally talk him into letting me get a bug, but now I have, i think he's hooked!)

This morning at about 7:50 a pale green S-Bug (SUK-966) pulled out of a sidestreet onto Burwood Rd, it was very original looking with shiny hub caps
and nice tinted windows.
I wanted to wave at the chickie driving it, but I think my Beetle was too Blinged-up for her to even look at.
