Ahh well...... so much for having this done by January!!

Haven't had much time for the split over the last couple of months till last week. Been hooking in the last few nights again and its near ready for the road. Hopefully will be at the nationals in a couple of weeks.:thumb

Near everything mechanical is new (say $$$$$), IRS is in, got it started last night, front beam now and brakes too go.

man, i am in love with this thing. It just fits in perfectly with your shed. The signwriting on it is gold...

Just interested on what kind of setup you are thinking for the bags? whether you will need to tub the rear at all?

Thanks for the nice comments....

Yeah its bagged, sort of.....Was bagged now brackets are all out and getting powdercoated, hopefully will have them back and in for the nats. I don't need to tub the back, there is a stack of room in there for the wheels. The wheels will probably be black stockers (have sandblasted the rims already) with firestone ganster crossplies and no caps.

The car under the carport is a 65 Buick Riviera.

My splitty now has a hidden stereo. The last thing i wanted was a stereo showing in the dash, but needed music!

Under seat i made a small box and fitted two 6x9 speakers. This sunk nicely into floor. Then a small amp to power the speakers.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v323/deckeddubby/Picture305.jpg

Then the tunes come from my portable MP3 player, 4000 tunes on tap. All totally hidden.
