I have used Porsche 944 hubs, but there would be no reason why you could not stay with the standard hubs. I have used a "rose joint" for the bottom ball joint and made a pin that goe's though the rose joint and is clamped buy the hub, it would be just as easy to do it to suit the standard hub assembly. Don't for get you have to add a sway bar too! I have not yet tackled that yet, but I have a fewe idea's.

Here are my heads just back from the engine builder, ready for me to port them out. I have had the "spuds" put in to reduce flex, and have had other areas that give trouble welded up.

Green at last!


Well the weather was fine and the painter has painted the shell, and it looks amazing (Well I think it does) no runs and no orange peel, I am so happy!!! I get to pick it up next week after it has been buffed. yeah harrr, I finally fell as though I am on the down hill part of this resto!

I have had a few look changes go though my head to, I have decided to go the "stock" look, but with the early fat chrome strips, and paint the fuchs satin black all over??? doe's anybody else have any other idea's?

And Jeza thanx for the great weekend, please vist again!

I hope your still going to use those early US spec bumpers with the over riders, maybe flag the towel rails though. And some headlamp eyelids (?) you know the things I mean chrome half rounds that mount to the light rings.

Im going to do the early bumpers and the towle rails to, but no sorry I do not like the eyelids for the super style headlamps , I think they look great on the early models but crap on the supers.

I wouldn't get rid of them either, I reckon chrome wheels would look good, and it would be hard finding someone to chrome the fuchs. Maybe just polish the crap out of them!
