everything is free for members.
Non members are allowed to participate (cos they aren't covered by club insurance or something) and are $5 to watch.
Membership is $50.
The quarterly magazine is a bit late at the moment, this is because the magazine has to be filled using articles written by members, and no-one
submits articles so they only have themselves to blame. :P

I submitted an article last year and heard nothing about it...don't even know if it was recieved....I have no backup of it as the pc died, but i went
away overnight near Charters Towers and got great pictures and some dirty pictures (in the dirt):o and wrote an article as requested..then nothing. My
neighbour who came with me was looking forward to seeing it in the mag. Oh well.

That's probably when the editor at the time threw in the towel and quit. Seemed he didn't like the arm chair critics telling him what he should be
doing.
Another likely reason is it never made it through the email system. Emails can be like that. If you don't get a reply assume it didn't make it.
The president quit shortly after nominating himself and being elected last year too. We seemed to be plagued by these sorts of probs. We always end up
with the same few people trying to hold everything together. So if there are any enthusiast people out there it's up to people like yourselves to
make the club bigger and better. :thumb
Every year at the annual meeting people whinge about not enough trips, and no trips for street buggies. We tell them they can have all the street
buggy trips they like, just send an email, we will put it on the site and it will be an event. They agree they will do that, and then we never hear
from them...

Hey, I didn't kill Kenny...
I was merely commenting on the effect of todays current economic situation with high inflation, and the price of bananas having a large effect on 2nd
hand VW parts, as we all know VW owners eat bananas and are generally unemployed hippies, and therefore need to sell off unwanted VW crap in order to
afford their precious bananas.
So these days $1000 doesn't buy good second hand parts, it only buys the unwanted crap that is lying around the camp of hippies, from which they use
the money to buy bananas....

Yep, not long now. Sunday the 19th for those that have forgotten.
I will be there in my V6 Baja, Brad will be there in his EJ20T Baja. There are quite a few others I know of.
I drove some of the tracks in the 1600cc powered Geko buggy, and it made it through some of them.
You can bring a stock VW, but you won't get very far. There is a large variety of tracks/lines to suit a good range of VW and driver abilities, but I
don't think a stock VW would do many at all.
