that is really good for the general public perception of us Kombi drivers, people driving past would have thought "oh! look at that guy - I thought kombi drivers were nuts, but he is so resourceful!"

Please, I need drivers side window regulator (winder mechanism) for my '54 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/Kombikim/avatar1.jpg

I can't believe you actually carry a tricycle, plant pot, teaset, golf clubs and computer keyboard in your car..........just to keep the boredom at bay when you break down.......my beetle would be overloaded.

Timmy you nutter. I know exactly were you are there - yes the F3 Bermuda Triangle - LOL. And you didn't even get to make it to the first speed camera! Next time, call, and I'll bring you a sofa.

last time i went through there i was towing the beetle home from flat fours show
floored it down to bridge then up the hill highway patrol parked in a nice spot for
speeders when i raced past at what i dont know as the speedo(english) was way
past the 90mph limit & trailer wavering dangerously, must have looked a site for them
yes them, two cops in the car but hey was trying to get up the hill at a relatively good
speed.
looking in the rear view expecting the worst(blue flashing lights) but nothing just visions of them
laughing there heads off in disbelieve & probable realising that i needed the run up.

safe & uneventful journey home for you tim:thumb
ps if you are hungry pop into mullaway (5km's past woopi the elephants) will give some feed for
the last leg home mate.
cheers wally
