WHY?
You don`t have to put up with crap from people that just wish to waste others time.
I`m sure they don`t ring up about all the Volkswagen ads in the Trading post!
If you don`t like the price, the colour etc etc don`t buy it!
Keep your comments to yourself.
If your interested pick up the phone and ask about it.

you can edit your own replies ok so what about if its possible the person who puts in
the ad is able to edit all replies on his/her post that is irelevant or over the top or just
nasty.
i see two things happening, 1 would be a fair minded seller would leave up fair questions
about what they are selling, 2 would be a seller with something to hide would probably
edit all questions that could contradict what the seller is saying but on doing that most would get suspicious about that sellers ad anyway.
on the time wasting replies well the seller may or may not edit those as most of the time its good reading.
just a thought

Also make a seperate Wanted section so the selling isn't cluttered up with people wanting to by stuff. |

how about people who are selling REQUEST that people call for info, or if you've got something smart arse to say, include your phone number....I had
my fill of timewasters...esp people who offer their opinion but clearly have no fkin idea what they are looking at, never driven one, and even bring
their mates along for a ride, then offer their dumb shit opinion on it, even saying ...wasn't interested in buying....but....(thought I'd waste some
guys time and then bag out something I've aint got a clue about)....
So if you've got something to say, leave yer phone number so the owner can clarify with you, save shooting your mouth off.

I gotta agree with crewcab. I do believe though that the comments should be left on. Sometimes it can be very beneficial. Yes there are alot of
w@&*ers on here (it's usually the same ones) but I believe the good outweighs the bad.
I dunno if it can be done but what about banning repeat offenders from the buy/sell area, firstly for a set period of time then for good if they
continue?

I ratheer like that idea!... and it is relatively easily done I believe. 
that would be the most effective way to run the buy/sell forum... decent folk can say what they want... the trash are eliminated for good.:bounce
Of course... there may be the odd.. "I HATE AVD COS THEY BANNED ME FROM A FORUM!" post to be taken care of... keep that in mind.
