We all just jealous. He's got lotsa money and he spent it on a dub. Good on him I say.
Oh and I wish I could cook like that too....
Hands up who has never cursed their dub?

Always liked his cooking shows once I got used to his voice.
At least he does drive his Kombi not like a lot of "celebrities" who have them as an in thing.

Larry Hagman (JR from Dallas for the younger ones) has his original splittie from college days. When he became wealthy enough he searched until it was found and then restored

I think it rocks...van and the man.

Who wouldnt love to have this spiltty...well...maybe not at the price he has it for sale....but...

i think everyone swears at their vw every once and a while (not me...so far...) and i know i would be if i spent massive amounts of money for a top range van, only to have it failing...and it'd be cursing more so if it were something stupid i had done (just not at the van)

Add to it that Jamie was headed to set up is own birthday bash, and instead of coming into town driving was being towed.

But yeah, think of all the geat things he's done. He helped the kis with their lunchs...even worked with parents to help curb the kids to healthy eating. Help teenagers/young adults into jobs....

at least he is using his cooking and fame to help make things better. Not just getting rich and leaving it at that.

And as for his right to own a van...definately. Just cause he has to pay someone else to fix it...is that any worst than paying someone else to cook your dinner???

I don't think so...and lets face it...more people who know about the older dubs and have them means a continued demand....which is good for us all when it comes to purchasing parts...if there is a demand business will continue to produce parts

dubless. :fakesniff:
