Hey Schmo,
Yes it is duct tape! When I first got the kombi my mate grabbed the duct tape and made a VW logo on the front. He made me promise not to take it off
until I get a real badge for the front! Since then I have got a real one, nice shiny chrome, much better looking!
I'll have to chuck up some more recent photos of my kombi for ya to look at if ya want 'em.
