whilst i wait for the for permission from the minister of war and finances to purchase some new floor pans I got busy rebuilding the wiper motor.
Seeing as i was going for a full rebuild I thought i would see to it to make sure that everything gets a once over. I forgot to take photos when
disasembling but took a few whilst i was putting it back together. Everythiing got a clean and scrub with some white spriits. I wish i has taken some
photos of when I pulled it from the car as it was pretty damn filthy. You'll just have to take my word for it. Getting the armature through the
commuters was tricky with the springs and all. needed a hand to get it all in. I found it was a lot easier to put the armature through first and then
put the motor casing on. Some fresh grease on the bearings and she was all sweet. Anyone trying this, just be careful when getting the rubber mounts
back in place. they came out easy but were fiddly putting back. Broke one off at the tip. still working though. I ran out of batteries on the digi cam
to take a photo so you'll have to trust me that i got it all back together, resoldered the wires and gave it a test.
