Sorry but no 54. There should be little indents in the pillar for the clunker doors. Maybe your pan is early and has been swapped somewhere in its life. the pillars should look like this

Do a check on the number under the back seat on the pan and also check the date stamped on the back of the speedo.

Looks like a lot of work, if your paying someone to do the welding etc, i`d look for another car.
I sold a rust free oval afew months back on here for $1500.
As you would know you don`t get much body work for $1500.
Still worth keeping for parts for a project.:thumb

I keep this in one piece for now, the really good oval I'm trying to get is a '57 . This will make a good parts source if I ever manage to get it.
