"Its the whole attitude of "if you don't have money we don't want to know you" which too many businesses have which annoys me in tasmania. sure,
you're running a business, not a charity, but the point is that you need people to want to spend money there, not feel like they have to spend money
there cause they don't have a choice. you need to make them like you!"
Have we ever not looked after you Jo? Seriously.......

As i said jeremy, if you read what i said properly
"I'm not saying this is what you guys do, far from it, but its just the general feeling i get from alot of businesses, which really bugs me."
And yes, you have helped me alot! Which is why i plan on buying lots of stuff from you guys WHEN i finally find a job!

haha...
yes, we all think ur a bit touched in tassie...but nothing to do with ur vw businesses....it more the two heads and lusting after some strangely
dressed sheep. plus the thing about marrying ur sister...
and im NOT sharing any of my cookies...
ps: the businesses up here are the same...u dont generally get to 'browse' but i do get to ask alot of stupid questions...
things like...'hey mick...u know this thingy...the bit that goes there...its looks kinda strange to me..."
he answers "bring it in'...always..he says....drop by, bring it in...let me see....I dont fink i make much sense to him (or anyone else)
and mick hasnt thrown me out....yet!
ANd just think jo...u wouldnt want to buy the stock on display...the stuff peoples can touch...who knows who drooled on it before u did!
dubless.
And who the helled parked the Mitsubishi "Prancer" under my
house???

Hey guys, everyone is entitle to their view but i genarally think that VW people are good people. I cannot count how many people has help me in my
stupid never ending money spending friends laughing girlfriend angry....etc etc... hobby. Of course, not everyone can afford it but they have to start
somewhere right? when i was studying, all i did was asking and browsing as i don't have much money but i still have a lot of people entertaining me
and encouraging me. Or else i would have said, fxxk this its too hard. Just buy a jap car and get over it. Now that i am a working class, i do spend
my money but more carefully. Money is not easy to earn these days and where do i find help? HERE!!!!
I have just receive a long e-mail from andrew that explain to me about type 4 engines, pros and cons and how to do it. For someone to spend time and
do that for a stranger, it has to be some sort of connection, rite? I really appreciate your letter Andrew, thanks mate!
So what's the connection? VWssss!!!
A lot of people got burn in this scene and i have been through all these and wise up. But dont forget that people are in business to make money as
well, not to just talk and spend time without making a living. BUT IT HAS TO BE REASONABLE!
All i was asking is if there are any where i can go in TAS to visit a shop and see and buy some unnecessary shit for my never ending project just to
see how is VW doing in TAS. So far there has been a few people offering me help and to catch up and talk VW shit to me, a stranger! So, guys, be
nice......
I hope i dont piss anyone off.........

This is the problem with any internet based conversation (email/forums etc) - sometimes what is typed can be taken the wrong way.
We just have to remember we come to use the forum for fun.

oh i hope no one took what i said the wrong way...
was just pointing out in the car industry very few groiups have their stuff on display to touch and feel...well..maybe autobarn and supercheap
types....but not the vw shops i go to.
BUT, i'd rather go to a vw shop where someone knows what the 'thingy' is that im talking about...and can tell me its real name. What it does...and
how I shouldnt be driving without it connected.
Or why there is petrol all over the inside boot of the car...hand me a spanner, and tell me to fix it before i leave while he continues to
serve.....poking his head out every so often giving me directions on how to do it right.
And like i said, no matter how dopey I sound...mick hasnt thrown me out or asked me to use the 'thingy (door) behind me to leave the area im standing
in...(notice how i like mick...he made my car stop when i wanted it to....such a good thing to have...braking is so underrated....:smilegrin
anyway...i think vw shops rock. and i doubt tassie shops are to much different to those in qld....i know mick kept his doors open for me a little
longer cause i was running late and my problem was a tad urgent.
far better than the super cheaps...i only use them for the toyotas....they are the 'abuse' cars :kiss
VWS ROCK!!!
dubless.

Back from Tassie!!! Beautiful place over there but a bit too cold, next time i go there during SUMMER with my bitch(VW)!!
Saw a few VW there, there is one black beetle with a lot of stickers on it but i cannot see whats on it as a passenger behind a car. A few kombis
hanging around as well.
Thanks for all the offers from Tassie!
