PS....I'm sure you've done your research, but according to Samba tech, birch was only offered until mid '64 (pre august), so I wonder if your car is even earlier than expected? damn fine colour, I remember a square that got around the elwood area which was 2 tone birch and dark green. It was at DOVW a few years ago next to Aldo's then-patchwork panelled square.

The square is another 4pm Clayton special, its a 64 build first reg 65 and dosen't have a push button dash SHAME!
Bails,
I don't know if I'll keep it, I really want to get the KG on the road and drive it daily, and with the 2332cc going it I really want to have some fun.

After all josh's work painting the square, Mark has started putting it back together.
The car is having the new TMI headliner put in at the trimmers,
and dash has had some light refurbishment, didn't have any cracks.
The 1600 T/P is being rebuilt and has been painted powered coated and all new clutch etc fitted.
Have had a few moments, ie when the trimmer rang to say the headliner was for a coupe LOL now wasn't funny at the time.
All going to plan should have it back in the barn this weekend,
Now back on to ISPWEST to get some more bits.

Thanks for the words guys, but its HERTZ AND JNR 356 who are putting in the hard yards

OL
