Which bug? brines has only done 45000kms from new and about 3000kms since total engine rebuild, compare rattles with rattles mate.

Hehe... they may not be as pretty as a Split.. but they're a damn site warmer!!

Went to my mum's after the run today.. She was telling me about back in her hippy days, her sister's boyfriend had a Splitty that they used to go to a weekly jam session.. apparantly they used to cram rediculous amounts of people in this old thing.. and it was drafty as hell!

Mind you, this was in the Snowy Mountains.. my grandad worked on the dams when they were being built... bugs and kombi's were the best thing up there!

The weather is starting to warm up. Took the cabrio for a cruise yesterday from home, through Williamstown, over the westgate, through stkilda and the city and managed to do it all with the roof down. (Mind you I was wearing a jacket, beanie, had the seat warmers on and the heater pumping) It was a Sensational feeling !!!! I had forgotten how great the cabrio is! Bring on summer

Hey dont worry about the cold, look at our heads in the pics, we live in beanies and big jackets at this time of year, cabrio with the heaters on full would be tops on a clear winters day.

check your seals, I used to have a Golf that puddled in the floor every time it rained. Could not work out what was causing it... still dont know, but the first thing to do is the seals.

The plastic plumbing under the bonnet vent must be blocked or missing the drain pipe for it to leak like that.
Good luck in the exam mate.

Thinking of something with a bit of 70's Laminex.
