heres an idea for your alarm on the cheap.

your doors should have little push switches in them for the interior light.

so rig up your horn to an indicator flasher relay so that when the buttons arent compressed by the door the horn sounds in bursts.

just put a switch somewhere like under a fender or just under your rear soft top cover that u can slip a finger in and flick the switch.

thats actualy a good idea will look into doing that but i have only got air horns but i spose it will still work. wat about central locking doors that lock might help.
any ideas.

just grab an old 12v horn from a wreckers somewhere.


seriously i dont think doors that lock are important......especially when u have your soft top down.....and if it was my car that would be all the time unless it was raining.

but most kids who see an open top car and think hey ill check the glovebox and open the door and get a horn blast in their ear would leg it out of there pretty quick.

if u really want central locking you could try U2Uing baja wes. he has central in his baja.

does yours use the later locks or early style?
