yeah, thats a coat of primer filler. just to fill up the little imperfections i've missed.

The body's still not perfect...but it'll be good enough. Might hit it with a coat of grey just for something to sand off and still have the yellow on there.

I must admit i'm gaining a certain satisfaction from doing it all myself! At least i tell myself this before the muscles start to hurt from rubbing it back. lol. Cheers for the offer tho empi.

Once i've painted the bug, then i'll start work on the astina again (as that's in a similar state of disrepair!). It only does low 14's anyway so you'd probably beat it!

Last pic is probably the most accurate regarding the actual color...but it's still darker than that.

A bit peely, but needs some clear and the metal flake on it anyway.

looking good dandan. Are you going to be painting or decaling the scallop?

Why do you take all your photos at 'work'? :?: The people there must think you have, like, 3 different coloured rats!

not sure on the scallop...but i think i might sticker it if in case i get sick of it.

And those pics are all actually taken at home! But yeah, i'm sure the people that live where i park must give it weird looks.

I can mask your scallops. Go for painted ones, better to be authentic. You can always rub it back and spray it again. When are you going to buff it up?

didn't get as much done as i wanted to. as usual!

the red needs a few more coats of clear, and i only got a couple of guards done in the black before the wind picked up and tore down my dropsheets.

didn't even touch the beam. but i want to find a how to on doing that before i tackle it.

did it take long to mask the window rubbers? how did you do it? seems like you're doing a great job masking the windows.
