Done a couple of things.
Added a side flash, mesh sunvisor and putting some Albert mirrors on over the weekend. I am narrowing a beam at the moment, so it will be low soon.
Also adding a hidden sound system in a old suitcase run by a MP3.
Will take another pic.

Nice looking 54, sortof where mines heading with alberts and flash. I pulled my good flash out of the box the other day and was going to trial fit it
on the car with double sided tape and noitced that i had to flex the door section a lot to get them to fit. Obviously the clips would hold it on tight
but is there any way to curve them to the shape of the door so if you held them up against the door they could just sit there. Was yours the same?

Yeah mine was the same. I croutched down and put it on my thigh and gently worked a slight curve in it. Fits perfect now. Just push gently at 5cm
intervals.

Thanks mate.
Couple of update pics,
Beam is in, 4" narrowed with shocks and no body mods.
Stereo install done, MP3 player, with hidden sound. Two amps, one for sub and one for the 6x9's.
Now you see it,
Now you don't,
Me and Squiz.

They are called 'Albert' mirrors, well that's who they're originally made by anyway. Originals are very expensive (unless you are a lucky bastard)
but as has been said repros aren't that hard to find.
Where'd you put the head unit? Car looks sooooo awesome!

a search in the classifieds at the samba will turn up a fair amount of stuff and a search in the forums (oval and accessory imparticular) a lot of
info.

No head unit, plugged into my mp3 like the ute. The suitcase has a box made inside it. The 6x9's are seperate from the sub, and each have their own
amp. These are powered from the battery of the car. All i do is plug in my mp3 and away i go. There is no difference to the mp3 than using the
supplied headphones. All it does is supply the sound.

Will take some under car shots.
Turning circle is fine. I choose to run 145 tyres on this car because i like the looks, but they have a fairly large diameter, so on full lock they
just touch the headlight buckets. Will have a fiddle with this soon though when i get a chance. My orange beetle "buggin" is a little lower than the
oval and does not touch at all, but it also has low profile tyres on it. Probably half the profile of the 145"s.

Hey, where did you install the amps for the speakers? Just in the suitcase? did you have to seal up the back of the sub to stop it from blowing out
the 6X9's with the amount of air it moves?
...and Robert's ya father's brother...

The amps are in the suitcase too. Each speaker has its own compartment.
