got a few stripes layed down on the beetle today, just the main one on the decklid and a little one around the front emblem, love the one on the rear,
a little unsure about the one on the front....it'll grow on me, otherwise, luckily its not terribly permanent!

I got it new from Classic Vee Dub in NSW, was the last one they had in stock at the time...took 1 day to get up to QLD, very good service from
them!!!

Thanks dude, but as its a 2 owner, 80k orig miles car with matching numbers, the ol' faithful 36hp will be staying in it....no need for massive get
up and go, just a cruiser!

while on the subject of pics and sticking some more into the '55's thread. I took some of the '59's interior aswell seeing I haven't put any up
and some people may like to see it.
Basically its pretty much stock original, very clean and tidy, except the front seats were redone in some nice red leather and the square weave carpet
is new with some red leather lining around it.
and one of the old 36er....clean, original and runs beautifully and hasn't missed a beat yet.

nah they are wide 5 356 steelies, the car is all original, 3rd owner, 80k miles, matching body/engine numbers, she's a pretty original car!
