Exactly what you (and I ) have just done.
Pushed (or bumped) the add to the top of the page again

really dont think rego in NSW would be all that hard.
Nothing is really changed.
All the work that has been done is basically refreshing stock.
Dual single barrels are and acceptable (ie non "modified") addition.
As well i think the motor would be classified as a 15% addition - again no eng cert required.
Would just require a blue slip

Hi
If this car was on the east coast (not that there's anything wrong with the west coast) we would not be having this bumpfest. For the freight price
quoted, it would still be a good priced car.

is there anything in particular i should be telling the insurance company about the engine that might effect the cover?

I am sure if ( when ) you state yor name they will advise you of the cost

yeah thats not the dilemma..
my question is would i have to tell them of ALL the engine components changed .etc
as i would hate for it to have a prang and then find out im not covered because of selected engine components .etc

Yep its licensed with this motor - correct engine number and it had this motor in it when it went over the pits.
As Barry said before its all within the 15%.

hey guys..have been working WAY too much..14 days straight :|
im still at work while posting this.
i have decided against it as the money i find would be better spent on a transmission that is going to handle the power i throw at it..
would rather drive a rusty subaru powered bug that wont break than a rust free beetle with busted gearbox.

No probs Anthony, just remember that the box in mine is a single side plate IRS, rebuilt with a superdiff already installed.
Several guys on this forum run that setup very successfully in their bugs with EJ20's. Of course if you are going to compete in the burnout
competitions, you might want a G50, but hey, whatever blows your hair back.....
