Just came back from the upholsterer. The material i'm using is a black velour and pink metal flake vinyl. I have monza rally seats going in her,
which will be black velour, pink metalflake vinyl piping with an embroided VW logo. The doors have a wave pattern with black velour on top and the
vinyl on the bottom. It's simple, but really effective, and it will break it up a bit.
Went to the Tyre centre today, and discussed her new shoes. I have to wait 3 weeks for them, as they need to be shipped. But they will definitely look
the goods, and add that extra "bling factor"

Cheers Judy! Dad has done an amazing job to finish off the body so well, expecially considering how busy he is with working away, and when he is home,
building fire appliances for the mining sector here in W.A. I feel extremely lucky!
He already has projects lined up when Mildred leaves home!  He is building his Toyota landcruiser and my Mum's 48 FX holden is due for a birthday too.

polish or lippy to match, look no further, one of my many talents is that I used to be a Beauty Consultant, (make up and nail technician) so I have
both the exact or near enough colour to match this AWESOME beetle.

The commodore wheels are on the back because not only did we do a disc brake conversion, we drilled blank hubs, and changed them to a commodore
pattern so i would have more choice in shoes! A girl's gotta have a choice in shoes!!!
Still waiting on the hubs for the front, so she just has some daggy calais rims at the moment. She looks like a bit of a bogun!

They are Golf Mirrors, and i acutally bought them off eBay. Installation of the mirrors required alot of customising. The only way i could put them on
was by removing the quarter windows and installing one piece windows. The mirrors sit on a steel base plate which was cut to shape and then welded in
place. A bit of fiddling, but works a treat!
