Guys, here are pics so you don't have to go through 66 pages of rambling!
Damo has made a few little changes including 16in Fuchs (but still has the 17s pictured).
Alex, it would be worthwhile U2Uing Damo or emailing him (let me know if you are serious - I will give you his email address). As I have mentioned
already, parts and materials alone in this car total over $40K......a car is never worth what you spend on it, but to get it for $20K is undoubtedly a
bargain. Remember the fact that a paint job like this would cost in the order of $10K+ (considering some of the rust work and ragtop graft not to
mention the subtle mods like shaving the carpet tabs on heater channels, the headliner grips on the b-pillars and near the rear window etc etc). I
haven't factored in any labour considering I did most of it myself, but unless you can do it yourself expect to pay a shedload more cash to have the
work done.
Enough rambling, I think Damo would consider it if a serious offer was made in the order of what he was asking (although obviously he'd have the
final call). There is nothing worse than being stuffed around and I think that is partly why he's pulled the for sale ad.
