yes we do all the tinwork and sheet fab our selves.
here is some work we did today,
i have put this bar in along the outer of the pan for two reasons
one , for strenght
two , for the cage leg's to land on,because the floor is so weak and flex's so badly.
has any one else seen anything like this,it would be nice to here how well is work's.
i will hopefully get started on the suspension next week so i will keep you all posted.
i would also apreciate any imput ,don't be shy.
down sharon.

it fit's fine ,i might have to grind a little off some of the bigger welds to make it fit perfect.
but in saying that, it fits now ,so when i put the rubber pan seal in there should be even more clearance

Just curious, but is a gearbox oil cooler really needed? Perhaps if you were building a circuit racing car, but its swing axel, ie handling not as
good as IRS.

a gearbox cooler might be a bit of overkill, and swing axle might not handle as good as IRS,but alot of guy's i know do a bit of circuit racing and it
would be so nice to bet some of them with the worst possible set up anyone could ever use.

can i ask - how you have raised the gearbox using the machined spacer - what effect does this have on the nose cone and engine height to the body in
terms of how the engine tinware will sit etc?

hi nick,
there are four bolts at the bottom of the nose cone i used these to mount to the plate,i also welded a bar between the two forks and the plate bolts
back to that.i have been tring to put up some pic's to show you. but the system keeps crashing so i will try some other time.as for the tineware ,i
have changed it in an atempt to make the mods to the fire wall minimal.some sheet work might need to be done, but hopfully not to much.
down sharon.

Here's another question...
Does the nose cone engine mount completely eliminate wheel hop or does it still require a kaffar style wheel brace to really eliminate the problem?

WOW dude that's pretty serious.
Make sure you only 'tack' it first, 'cause you may only be able to use parrallel 4-link,
or it may bind with swingaxle.
Very nice work!

luckily i have 100mm travel up or down @ the wheel .
before it binds, the shocks i bought don't have that much travel

out of interest why did you go to so much effort and keep the swinger instead of full IRS?
