DEAN NOT WELL ENOUGH TO RACE

Well Huntley was held today and Dean was not able to participate as he has been quite un-well for the past week . Last Saturday he decided to go bike riding and he wasn't too well at the time . He rapidly developed flu like symptoms and Lisa had to get him to the doctor for a check-up.
He has been on a nebulizer every 4 hours for the past 5 days to keep his lungs clear so as he doesn't develope pnumonia .
He is slowly getting better and the racing will have to wait till the next round of Huntley in a couple of months .

I know what that feels like. I've had this flu type thing for just on a week and I can't shake it even with medication. the boys at mini jam witnessed me first hand coughing and spluttering all day and night. Sunday wasn't good as being out in the night air till 11pm has kinda killed me big time. Today at work isn't really pretty either!! Lucky the boss is away so I can just cruise through the day and take it easy.

Get well soon mate. I can relate to first hand and it sucks!

Pity you both missed out. It was a huge day. 52 starters and 6 runs.

1 broken driveshaft, 1 stripped 2nd gear, 1 damaged rim/tyre but no stacks though some people had more success in staying on track than others.

A pretty good effort by the club to get a full grid of 52 with only 2 weeks notice, yet the NSW championship series has only 70 odd entrants.
