Some workshop manuals give instruction on how to do a wheel alignment yourself. Let me know if you don't have one that does.

Lower it
I had a similar problem. I solved it when
my mechanic lowered my Beetle by about 1 or 2 inches in the front.
Placed anti-sway bars front and back.
and most importantly I replaced the old 165/70 tyres with 185/60 tyres and 155rims.
It held the ground like a train after that. |
