i was workig at shell when it first put it up to $1... i went out to the big sign board and was putting it up and had thigs thrown that m, had some
very nasty things yelled at me.. man i wouldnt like to be the poor kid who has to cop that when it goes upto $2 cos ppl are alot more pissed bout it
now i think...
but no matter how high it gets we will have to pay it or walk

ppl depend to much on there cars so its never gonna get to the point where noone can afford to drive, civilisation as we know it would crumble
not all diesels have a tractor like clatter
i would say one of the worst tho was the older model turbo diesel rodeos
but my 04 TD navara work hack is very quiet and incredibly punchy, u really have to constantly watch ur speed and tommys merc i mentioned is quieter
than most petrol cars but for $140k i would want it to be

I don't know what the problem is, you guys down south really need to spend some time up north in the top end, petrol prices down here rock in
comparison.
Spare a thought for northern Australia. I'm use to paying $1.50 + anyway.
Your right though, the cost has to go down or the enthusiasts / rev heads will suffer
