golde why dont you look at going a s/h auto craft or simmillar case with all the good bits doesnt end up that much more than a played with autolinear

Thats easy!
I've been burnt too many times by local work thats done to a 1/2 hearted, she'll be right, its good enough cause its only for a VW standard that I
get from australian shops. I guess thats because a lot of vw people dont have a lot of money to throw at their cars so a lot of corners are cut all
the time.
Being in Cairns I dont have the capability to closely monitor what a machine shop down south is actually doing for me, not even investigate what their
real capabilities are. There is no guarantee that they will get it right the first time. Having had to freight parts all round the countryside before
im not willing to go down that path at all again.
For me its more important to get the job done right the first time. Rocky Jennings is making an engine case guaranteed to hold 500hp with reliability.
I doubt there's many shops in the country that could make that same claim.

Well said Ian, and not too many shops here care either, Rocky Jennings is the man for this also, the only website pertaining to this machine work is
his, i would love an oxy boxer one day.
