Well, it's been a winter between drinks for the notch.

I've spent a few hours here & there over the last few months finishing off the bodywork, and tying up some odds & ends.

Here we are trial fitting & assessing all the bolt on panels from the white notch I wrecked.

Trying the Euro plate for size :D
Here you can see what a mess the RHS rear guard was in.

These were the remaining panels that I had to work with (bought with the brown car)

I ended up using the grey primered front guards, but even these proved to be rusted through around parts of the headlights... nothing a good MIG-ing couldn't fix.

The rear RHS guards were STUFFED one was heavily dented, the other was severly rusted along the bottom... again, time to attack both with the grinder & mig.

The doors also proved to be quite badly dented & caked with filler. But after alot of love with various forms of hammers, grinders and metal heating objects the panels were ready to be filled and meet the body again.

Unsightly, I know.

After some coats of primer and shot with a guide coat.

A mate of mine was able to fabricate some swingaxle frame horns onto a late IRS subframe.

After many a long hour, and replacing the rear rhs guard for a better item I can finally report that the car is in colour.
