Frosty, will definitly give you a heads up next time. It was touch and go right up to about 4pm Sat arvo so it was pretty late notice.
Heath, i agree mate. Hopefully some of the hot streeters will make the trek to warwick again this year. easy for me to say that living 2hrs away
though...

Tom,
The car looks awesome, it's a real credit to you and team Dak-A-Tak!! I can't wait to see this on the Cal Look Top 20 for 2010!? Is this the
plan?
How's the car feel with a spool compared to your experiences in Adelaide with a Super Diff? Any plans to bolt the slicks on?

And it loves your traction bar Craig!!
Thanks for the kind comments guys. Seems like a few brown beetles (two in the2010 cal-look ultra vw) getting air play at the moment.
This is one of my favs: http://jg54greenhearts.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html There are better pics of the zwitter at the track but I could not
find them..
Dave O'C, I would love to see it in the cal-look top20 - big ask and with a baby only months away... maybe 2011...
The spool brings out the creaks and groans and takes a few more revs to get it moving in tight areas or corners. But in the burnout patch it felt
awesome, really direct and predictable. It is hard for me to tell whether it was the track, the spool or both but it left straight from the line with
a nice amount of spin and stayed straight.

BRMs or Erco or Fuch....
I forgot how much I like BERMs!! I had been thinking I would like some rims with a bit more detail. I was thinking Fuchs, but after test fitting
Rods BRMs I am back thinking about my old favs. Thoughts?
Also put the bumpers back on to appease the police...

Your car looks the biz any way you dress.
For me though, I don't like the wide 5 Fuchs, the Erco's more race, the BRM's more street look

Hey Oliver, unfortunately I am not going to valla. My wife will be 36 weeks pregnant so being that far away doesn't really work.
Empi, the colour is texas brown.
Got a few things to fix/tune before heading to the track but hopefully get back there in the next month...

Hi Dave, Warwick was a blast!
Even though I only got one run before the right axle exploded, that one run was a pb and felt great.
PB was 7.766 @ 88.58 mph with a 1.716 60ft.
Best at Warwick previously was 7.938 @ 87.04
Best for car was 7.799 @ 87.26 (Willowbank)
Unfortunately I have not landed a new axle yet, sway-a-way will not have any until 15/11 and Karpiola does not have any short axles either... Will
bring out the camera to the TNT.
