Dangerous wins final with 11.79!!!!! hard on the brakes so he didn't break out. Was no 2 qualifier. First round of racing the "muffin man" was at
his best dialing in at 11.29 and running 11.30 from memory. Dave you will correct me if I'm wrong for sure!!
Rod Richardson broke out first round running 12.28 on 12.30 dial in. Did run 12.19 last round of qualifying.
Pete Page didn't race eliminations as the yellow car has some issues with clutch slipping and didn't want to risk making it worse. Did manage to run
11.79 @114mph in 2nd round of qualifying. Car runs so straight and gets out of the hole better than just about any I've seen. Looks absolutely
awesome on the track and heaps of really positive comments about the car and it's presentation.
Wally Penboss has some fuel issues and some other minor problems so prolly didn't run as fast as he would have liked. But man does it wheel stand
coming off the line as you would have seen by Sides' video. He made 2nd or 3rd round of racing before being eliminated. Dialed in at an 11 something
and last 2 runs would have been easily into the 10's but Wally was hard on the brakes so he didn't break out. Car has shown it has got a lot of
potential that's for sure.
Was the biggest field of all motor car I have seen and after the first round there were a few missing cars due to breakages etc etc. Dominated by
Honda's and Rotaries it's good to see the Volksy's coming out on top.

Nah Aaron didn'r run at Jambo. He is currently doing a fair bit of work on the Kombi getting it ready in time for Warwick.
Corey North was on hand the whole weekend taking pics of the Volksy's and whatever else took his fancy. Like VL's blowing the bonnet off and doing
massive wheelstands!!
Just got to take a peek at some pics and they look really really good. He hopes to have them all sorted and on his website tomorrow. Some will be
posted here in this thread too.

Thankyou every one for the well wishes.
It was a big week end, and I am dog tired right now.
Saturday:
11.317@117.59mph, 1.517 sixty foot time and 7.163@94.94mph on the 1/8 mile.
Sunday: 11.29 dial in.
11.305@116.85mph, 1.524 sixty foot time and 7.132@95.22mph on the 1/8 mile.
11.306@118.14mph, 1.547 sixty foot time and 7.167@95.38mph on the 1/8 mile.
11.590@90.20mph, 1.447!! sixty foot time and 7.011@95.83mph on the 1/8 mile.(backed off)
11.734@87.94mph 1.538 sixty foot time and 7.077@96.53mph on the 1/8 mile.(backed off)
The last two runs I was leaving the start line at 8400 rpm.
Also, after this win I was lucky enough to over take Jason Alcorn
to finish the season second in the All Motor points series for the year.
Thanks to Stanley for being number one crew guy,
and also to Pagey, Rod, Macca, Corey, Lachlan, Aaron, Colin, Troy, Brennden,Tom, Dave S,
and any of the other Volksy dudes that dropped by to support th Volksys over the past couple of days.
Also thanks to sponsors:

Reaction times through eliminations:
0.469(accidental 8400 launch)
0.549 (by-run back to 7500 launch)
0.455 (intentional 8400 launch and 1.44 sixty foot time)
0.411(killer in the final...hehe..the 'red light I got away with')

I am sure Pete will chime in with lots of pics and Vids later in the week.

The runner up was for the Australian Championship.
I only ran the two local rounds, so not bad.
I did win the event last night.
That is the other trophy, and payment still unknown for that.

Congrats to everyone who competed, especially in All Motor, and to Dave Butler for winning the event. The VW's looked awesome out on the track and
never fail to deliver with both performance and presentation.
People talk about how fast Sam's car is and a few other 20B's breaking into the class but nothing beats consistency in a DYO bracket. And that is
something you guys have in spades.
I look forward to hopefully seeing you guys down in Sydney next year.
(I was with the RX3 sports sedan which red lit AND broke out by 0.002sec in the first round)
