I'm glad it's dissapeared (especially off my credit card acc), now I'll get the stuff from a more reliable sorce, always have trouble with them,

Stanley pretty sure he is bringing the blue car and his yellow car. I will be there to help him out with tow car etc etc. Troy is coming but don't
think the Type 3 will be there.
Of those going who is interested in doing dinner at the track?? Everybody will bring something and we'll pool it together for a feed? I don't mind
organising it so long as everyone brings something!!

sorry guys, i wont be there as my car is running badly and needs more tuning that cost to much money which i dont really have at this time of year.

Well not long been home from test and tune. Was a good night for some and not so good for others. Rod Richardson managed to pre stage and do burnout
before oil pressure on new engine basically disappeared so that was it for Rod. Stanley had a fairly large oil down due to possible rings let go or
another oil pressure related problem that blew both rocker cover gaskets off and dumped oil everywhere. Pete Page had a minor clutch issue and Matt
Berry broke a clutch cable after about 4-5 runs. He did get quicker with every run which was goood to see with quickest being 13.1@104ish MPH. Pete
ran an 11.62 and 11.96 both about 116ish MPH. Last run (11.96) was with good wheelstand that sent him towards the wall so back off then get car
straight and going in the right direction and still ran 116MPH so would have a been a fairly quick run.
Big thanks to all who came out for a look and lended a hand over the course of the night.
I'll let everyone who competed add in the infinite details.

Sorry to hear there were a few problems guys but congratulations on getting out there and making a few passes. Pete, your car is looking awesome as
usual!
Dave, hope the eye heals fully....I know the feeling, my left eye has only just come back to normal (non blurry) vision after about 3 weeks after
getting some solvent splashed in it.
Hope to get out there next year at more meets and mix it up with you seasoned racers. Work has started on the exhaust system of the new engine so
hopefully early next year it will be done.

What was the track like?
Would have been pretty humid I would expect too which would have played havoc with tune ups.
Hope Rod's engine didn't suffer any problems.

But still managed a 13.52 at 87mph. Who knows what it would have done without the problem.
Only picked up 7mph in the last half of the track due to maybe a lack of fuel which may have caused a lean out and caused it to turn into an oil pump
I guess the boost has to go somewhere. My first oil down....sorry guys.
The last 200ft had no power and the oil light came on just before full track at which time I shut it off and the cabin preceeded to fill with
smoke.
Popped both rocker covers and turned the breather box into a fountain so I have an issue somewhere. Good chance to pull it down and fit a CW crank
ready for next year. Now off to build a trailer. Thanks to all who came to watch and chat and offer sympathy. Glad the eye is better to Davo.
Only plus was I still beat Matt from start to finish....
