Hi

We are only hiring Wakefield for the Saturday, let me talk to them about private practice before hand.

We are only trying to break even with the event, it will cost Club VeeDub around $7000.00 to run the event, we guess the entry fee will be between $120 - $150, it depends on how many cars we have running but as were talking about VW drivers we want to keep it as cheap as possible.

We are still ironing out all the details, but from the response so far, I think that the event should be well attended.

Guy - after seeing your Lakeside video's, you're too much of a quick learner to need practice !!!

I on the other hand need all the steering time I can get....

;)

Steve - the $120-$150 price point sounds reasonable I reckon, and although I've never driven Wakefield I'm sure it'll be a hoot.

Not real fussed Steve, but since you're giving me a choice I'll go the Hi Lux. Should be able to find a couple of WSCC members to have a run there as well.

Hi

Multiple drivers shouldn't be a problem.

I just spoke to Wakefield. They sometimes have private practice during the week, it all depends on track bookings, they should be able to tell us about 2 months before hand what will be available.

There is limited villa accommodation available at the track,
5 Villas available: (Club VeeDub has booked 2 alreadyfor Friday night)
6 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Large Lounge Living Area (per Villa)
Accommodates 2 People per room ( 12 persons per Villa)
Cost: $60 per person per night
Utilities:Bed Linen and Towels provided, Kitchen: Bar Fridge, Microwave, Kettle, Clock/Radio, Tea/Coffee

Level 2 speed is the minimum for supersprints. $95. What you may not know is that you MUST be a member of a cams affiliated club to get a cams licence.

Hi Craig

Apparently open wheels are not allowed to run with sedans, so you will only be allowed to race with other open wheel cars on the day.

Sounds like a good event put me down for it too I'll give it a go.

Glen Wouldn't mind doing the camping thing but if its not available and your keen for a cabin put me down for that too.

Apparently a formula holden is interested in turning up. I've said OK, so long as she moves over when the formula vee's want to pass ;)

For those who have tried 10-20 seconds drag racing and think it was good fun/fantastic well figure on 4 flying laps at a time, (4 to 5 minutes) with brakes and corners thrown in. Drag racing is lame.
