A big thanks to all that turned up you all make the day. And also the guys that came from Sydney and Nambucca especially hope you all had a safe trip home.

Hope to see you all up at our next cruise in May and it's a lot nicer weather than.

The guys at Carline where great bunch of mechanics the day went off well hope to do it again soon we need to beat the amount that they have there when the commodore club come they get over 40 cars.

Come on guys we can beat this next time.
We had 14 on the Dyno and a few more came along to watch it was a great day heaps of fun.

SOMEONE WOKE UP THE NEIGHBOUR not mentioning any names Rob:lol::lol:

I don't think anyone got over 80hp for the day.
From 1500 - 2200 vw engines on the day.

If this isn't correct I'm sure someone will let me know. As I was a bit busy taking pics, videos and organising bbq.

Great day out in the dub, thanks to Ian & Rose for doing the leg work once again to organise this sort of happening.

I'll put some pics & my results up tomorrow some time.

I took the oportunity on the way down from Taree to reaquaint my self with Buladelah Mountains, what a blast, havent driven through there since the new road went in. It was great to stretch the old girls legs through some twisty stuff for a change. That is a great piece of road. But a bloody hot trip home.

Also good to meet a few more guys from on here, hopefully catch up at another time & place.

Cheers
Brendan

Some pictures from yesterday, most are pretty similar to those that have already been put up.

My results, not to bad for an engine thats basically stock.
Can some one explain how the Air/Fuel Ratio read out works & what it means to me?

57 ponies out of a stock motor is damn impressive

I "thought" the magic number was 13.8 - which would mean you are a tad lean up high

And I also missed the guy in the grey bug does anyone know who he is?

Lee I'm glad you enjoyed the video you might come along to our next one that I was thinking about holding in June or July when its heaps cooler for the vee dubs.

HEY VLK55Y

Air fuel on your graph it starts at around 14 14.7 is stoichimetrice or where all things being perfect it should be . As the vehicle ramps up you see the air fuel graph drop toward the 12's this just mean that as you push it the fuel mixture is getting richer you could probably change the main jets a size or to and possibly pick u p a little more power but then you run the risk of leaning out. I'd be happy with where its at
