well done :tu:

Very original ideas, which is great to see. You just need a decent motor now :)

Wow.

:punk:That's a really bold design, but you've pulled it off brilliantly. Great attention to detail and consistency. I'd better stop there before I sound like a wanker.

The monza exhaust had me worried for a bit, but it's cancelled out by the Porsche shroud. So well done with the engine too.

Very very well done. Have to say like all those above, you have pulled off an original car that is truely yours and works really well. I'd also like to see more detail pics. Now I cant help but also suggest please one day upgrade that exhaust, a good 1 5/8" 4-1 with ceramic paint and fatboy or hideaway would fit the bill so much better, or maybe one of westi's 1 5/8" s/s extractors to keep the aussie flavour running. Trust us, you WONT go back to a monza....ever, they sap performance and don't last too long either.

Big Thanks to all involved in 'Dubs by the Grub' cruise. The beast got plenty of looks and took out "Best modified beetle (after 1967)" and "Best modified Interior". Glad to be able to mix it with the VW crowd.

BELT DRIVE ?!?

Some new pics of a little project I have been working on for a while... a 2 inch gilmer belt drive. Now I know it is total overkill and yes it probably detracts from the performance but I just can't wipe the smile off my face when I look at it let alone hear it running.

Paint effect is created using plastic, in this case I used a drop sheet as I found it gave a better effect than glad wrap. The paint used is the trick though, it is called "marblizer" and is by a company called "House of Kolor".
As far as I know no-one makes gilmer drives for vee dubs except for crazy people with too much time on their hands at work.
