The quick 8 was won by Wally Penboss with low sevens,
and Rohan Keylock(from Mick motors) was also in the final, with similar times from his Automatic equipped 2442 turbo beetle, "dusty".
Rohan was stoked to be in a final in only his second outing n the car.
Other interesting things were Leon's trike in the sixes at over 102 mph,
Aarons bus doing something like 104mph,
Rodney running mid-low sixes with the N2O,
awsome burnouts and 100mh plus runs from Vollkommen arts 300kW "Junka".
Also Crazy Col's daily driver running mid to low 8s,
Chris Holland streeter daily driver into the 7's.
Bec and Aaron Roberts' type 3 looked and ran awesome (in the 8s), with aaron doing an auto trans rebuild in the pits on Saturday night!

Hmm, what else...
Ross Freestones Houndog was running hard and looked and sounded awsome for his first real outing in what seems like 20 years!
Peter page's bug now has nitrous oxide fitted and looked awsome as usual,
Rod richardsons mid 7s,
Nice to see Morgan Smith back racing in his beautiful metalic brown '59..(where wire you MACCA!!!!???).
Also nice to see all the victorian and South Australians who travelled up to compete and spectate.
Good to see Michael (sauron) go home with a win in the class.
You know the best thing of all about Warwick will always be the friendship and social side of the event.
Thanks so much to Craig and his crew for another superb event,
and to the Warwick Drag Club for their excellent organization, track prep, and smiling faces.
Is it next year yet!?

Hi Marko,
the track and event is run by club members and the only money comes from gate takings and donations.
I am sure in their future budget time boards will be there in future.

We are home and yes what a great weekend once again. I picked up the local paper the (Warwick Daily News) up at Warwick this morning to find BUZ in
there.
I was rather surprised with the times I got out of BUZ my best over the 1/8mile with my 20 year old used stan engine with 6 volt 1200 gear box which
had been grinded out to fit the 1916 into I had heaps and heaps of fun and he sounded great with a stinger
my best time over the weekend was a 10.16 sec with a .536 reaction
And I was giving him all he had.
Don't need to have a huge budget to have heaps of fun.

There's only a few left who make noise about days gone by cause most of them are back at the track doing it all over again in some shape of form!

Hi all, same as above .....what a great event as always, Craig, thanks heaps.
The problem with the Warwick event is that it's over so quickly, but our crew like to make it last by being the first camp up and the last to
leave.
Certainly the highlight of the CLA racing team's weekend was Crazy Col getting to the final even though the cherry gave away the victory, we were
stoked with the performance of the car and driver being consistant and fast all weekend, with no less than 10 passes on saturday in the daily driven
fruitloop, 8.34-8.68.......noice
Tony ran most of saturday in his very tidy flat black manx with the new 2442 running flawlessly, if only the tranny could have handled the punnishment
a bit longer. The stock trans blew 2nd and then had no drive so further inspection is required, not to mention some plans for some new hipo bits and a
trip to dangerous.
The Hillbilly racer was a late starter with final setups still being sorted at the track on saturday morning. Bottom line is the 3 liter type 4 is an
animal and the rh axle only lasted for one pussy pass and one more launch. . But was lots of fun and cant wait till next years event.
