Last few sets I saw,
the manifold was very loose on the studs.
You can either dowel the manifolds to the heads with roll pins,
or sleeve the studs.
The loose fit makes the match port a waste of time,
and can let manifolds loosen up all the time whilst driving around.

really?!! thats dodgy.... these actually fit really well, the manifolds slip nice and tight over the studs, to the point you have to wiggle them to
get them back off....

in mikes words "it will be finished when its finished" basically its the age old time and money issue..... hopefully over the
next few weeks we will be able to hook into it a little more and get some good progress on it... as for the specs, he is still wanting to keep alot of
it under his hat.... but i can tell you it a 65 bug, molly cage, N/A 2442cc with 51 ida's

The attached pics are why I asked about the match porting. Mine are 3.5mm out using a 0.5mm card template. It can be fixed but when paying $360 +
postage for a pair of match ported inlet manifolds that aren't very well match ported you'd be pissed off too...

From what I have heard the LMS car is getting a new moly chassis and HARROP supercharger to replace the turbo.
Dave was planning to be ready for Warwick but time is tight.
