i looked at my car for a while and put some stickers up on the hoist

mike fitted 2 horn grills

Last few sets I saw,
the manifold was very loose on the studs.

You can either dowel the manifolds to the heads with roll pins,
or sleeve the studs.

The loose fit makes the match port a waste of time,
and can let manifolds loosen up all the time whilst driving around.

really?!! thats dodgy.... these actually fit really well, the manifolds slip nice and tight over the studs, to the point you have to wiggle them to get them back off....

a different approach to the good old stinger


hmmm... see how it goes, but i decided to get a little creative today with the bug, had a stinger for some time now but didnt really have a way to mount it as i have sidewinder extractors, came up with this.... :lol::crazy::lol: sounds soooo awesome and i still dont know what to think about the look other than "its different" :lol: hahaha second pic looks like its smoking a cigarette

in mikes words "it will be finished when its finished" :lol::lol: basically its the age old time and money issue..... hopefully over the next few weeks we will be able to hook into it a little more and get some good progress on it... as for the specs, he is still wanting to keep alot of it under his hat.... but i can tell you it a 65 bug, molly cage, N/A 2442cc with 51 ida's

The attached pics are why I asked about the match porting. Mine are 3.5mm out using a 0.5mm card template. It can be fixed but when paying $360 + postage for a pair of match ported inlet manifolds that aren't very well match ported you'd be pissed off too...

From what I have heard the LMS car is getting a new moly chassis and HARROP supercharger to replace the turbo.

Dave was planning to be ready for Warwick but time is tight.
