Ordered approx $800 worth of parts last Sunday from CIP1 and the packages arrived this arvo (5 working days!!). All parts there, none missing, all exactly as described. Payed via paypal, no hassles. Therefore would highly recommend.

Cip1 are pretty good.
Veedub Parts Unlimited are excellent.Fast shipping
MAMotorworks suck balls
WWest are good quality but pricey and expensive shipping
Aircooled.net is also good. Fast shipping

Its a great time to buy from the US.

Sorry Australian VW suppliers. These guys are killing it with the internet shopping stuff. So who's going to pull there finger out first?

Not that i was unhappy with (all but one) suppliers in Oz, just the exchange rate is so good. I will still buy from the Oz suppliers on most things but a bargin is a bargin.

Talking of ordering parts from US VW sites.
I am thinking of ordering a perforated off white headliner for my '66 Australian built Beetle.
Now, the headliner I order, would be for a 1960-62 Beetle?
IE: Australian built Beetle bodys are 1962 style up until the introduction of the all new 1968 1500.
Is that correct?

Thanks :)
