If someone can steal a Ferrari or Porsche or any modern car with immobiliser etc...

an old beetle is a piece of cake...

best to have the interior light connected to switches under the bonnet and engine lid...
and an alarm connected to the interior lamp with an On Off remote switch best....

I used to just make these alarms years ago and used a key switch to turn the alarm on or off...

try to position the siren inside the car.... or under the car where it can't be found easily...
]
cheers

LEE

PS: saw some SPY branded alarms on ebay...
one even rings Your phone... lol Lee

Hmmm now I know how to steal all of your cars lol:lol:

I use a locking shifter that locks the car in reverse, the only way to move it is iether drag it with a tilt tray or have the clutch in all the time. I also use a battery cut off switch and when I go to a electric fuel pump it will have a cut of as well.
A old friend used to have a golf and the cut off switch was in one of the vents, so the vent had to be in a particular position for the car to start.

Another tip, if you wiring is old looking and you wire in a switch then make the new wires look old to or that will be the first thing a low life will look for.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail.....

Its called a tilt tray. Back it up skull drag it on with the winch and there gone.
Best security is to lock it in your shed.

If your going to park somewhere dodgy take you daily shitbox falcon or camry.
