hi,
my engine is blown in my kombi, im new to the kombi family and was wondering would this engine be ok???
are they all the components i need for the conversion??? |

Well he's got the engine and ecu plus adapter plate but you still gotta sort a radiator and piping up to the front of ya bus

you would need to make a crossmember , sort out fuel system or get a efi kombi tank (i do have a bay tank with a commodore v6 pump fitted inside it) i
also have a hq v8 rad pretty good cond might even be brand new, stock clutch might hold up to a ej22 , not sure if you would need to flip throttle
body/ manifold .
vss ie speed sensor but i modded the speed sensor out of the subi front cut in my wagon to fit inside the stock guage housing.
This is a cheap engine which woulb be great for a conversion or parts.
bargain on up to 5 grand for a type 4 rebuild getting a shop to do it.

geez an engine with loom and ecu wouldnt leave u much change for under 1k from a wreckers
If i wasnt so far away it would be in my shed now

for an extra 100 bucks I'll chuck in a 97wrx block with heads and a ej25 na dohc motor ej25 has blown headgaskets but also had reco heads in the
past and ej20t has conrod problems . thought both had blown headgaskets but only 25 also they have been sitting outside .
