So kept all my receipts and all up i spent $598 on fuel and used 422litres of fuel over more than 5051klms.

The result is 11.96klm/litr!!, now that sounds to good for a 1915cc engine.

The engine has twin 40mm webers and ported heads with 40mm intake valves with a c35 scat cam and ive had the carbes tuned to the engine and i only have a 009 with points. The average temp while driving was about 15 degrees too so that would have helped and i am pretty sure i didn t miss a fuel receipt.

I was very impressed when i calculated that. Who needs a new car, when you have a well tuned vw!!!
