Rose's motor is the pobjoy steroids street combo from over 20 years ago.........they were good for 15.3@86mph, so Rose is very close to those times,
which is an excellent result considering her motor was bought 2nd hand !!

No Tacho
Yeah not bad for a old motor fitted to a early 6volt gear box with the bell housing ground out to take the 12 volt flywheel and with about a foot
between gear changes with the old 54 gear stick

OLD ENGINE HP
put the old engine that I've been drag racing with over the last few years that I've given a thrashing and all we've done after each drag event is
changed to oil with some castrol edge sport 10w/60 and checked tappets haven't had to change points, spark plugs or adjust timing at all.
So today we thought we would put it on the Dyno to see what HP it actually has
I was rather surprised that it had 79.5HP at the wheels and was still climbing. We where suprised with the result.
The dyno guys backed it off as it was a bit loud in there shop with the stinger on it.

Good stuff Ian and Rose, and I bet Rose is hanging out to get it all together and get behind the wheel

Also, Ian I hope these photos were taken only after a couple of hours from starting to strip and rebuild
