well I can't be arsed mainly because a lot of clubs i have dealt in the past (not car clubs) seem to be too political. I have met some great guys on
here and became friends with a few so i am happy to meet up occasionally or support outings like Berry and VW Nationals

But its clubs that organize these events, so no clubs no events and all that would happen is a bunch of forum users complaining that their are no
events

Having a fair bit of experience with a few clubs (Dave you will agree I am sure) this is how it works, 90% of members dont care how it runs as long as
it does & they benefit from it ,5% do all the hard work & there is plenty of that. The last 5% just bitch about how the former 5% are not doing
it right without getting off their arses & actually contributing.
This applies for most social clubs not just car clubs.

Hi
I think I must be missing something in VW Clubs I have met really nice people Doctor's , Dole Bludger's, models, surfers , hippies, computer
Guru's and mad mechanic's in a nice way you name it they come in all shapes & sizes and from many backgrounds cultures and places with one
common goal they love their VW's.
Yes their is people who are different that's the beauty of it we are all different with different views.
So forget about your worries they are all blown away the moment you drive your VW or go to a show, or watch Herbie for the 154 time.
A wave a day keeps the doctor away especially in a VW :
