Hey Zeyus, that's the same car. I still have a small swatch of that Tartan material.
anyway I have ammended the ad so as not to confuse anyone new to VW's, or annoy any of the tecnical purists over the term 'IRS', as technically all
Beetles are IRS.
This has double jointed rear axles with semi trailing arms. The big difference between this updated design and the earlier 'Swingaxle' design, is
that the rear wheels do not alter their camber angles as they move up and down. This allows for better handling characteristics, and inhibits the the
chances of 'swingaxle tuck' which can roll a stock swingaxle Beetle without warning when cornering.

I can sort that out no problems, if it's bought by someone who wants to register it in NSW. I'm not wasting my time and money locking into blue
slips that run out after a month until I have a buyer. It has the Queensland equivalent and passed first time, so I can't see why it would fail in
NSW. The Qld rego inspection papers have just run out. You are welcome to inspect it, and go through the paperwork yourself.
Cheers, Dave

DOKA Dave, you've just been nominated for Phil's ' Gold Star' award for correct terminology.......Congratulations.
Seriously though, I think that would be a good car - sort of 'best of both worlds'.
Cheers, Greg
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
