Hi Al , me and Ben just went out and dug the firewall section and rear wheel arches out of the bottom of the scrap metal bin . firewall and wheel arches are in great condition , but cant say the same for my hands lol (only a few minor sctratches ) let me know what you need and we can send them up with Michaels oval body . Fantastic Wayne, thanks very much for your efforts - sorry about the cut up hands! Firewall is what I am after basically (well its actually for Dave Butler). I did need one for the customer's project however we ended up just repairing what was there due to time constraints. However Dave is still after one so sending it up with the oval for Michael would be sincerely appreciated. Obviously happy to help contribute to costs.

Started to build roll cage from chomolly. was fortunate enough to have been lent a bending machine to do the job.

Hi Westi..Put the bend in for more clearance to the seat and i cranked the side bars outwards towards the door for the same. Side bars and yet to be made rear stays will both meet at the bend. this is my first attempt at a cage so it may be differant to others , but as long as it complies when i am finished that is fine by me.

I'd double check with ANDRA tech person or rule book about cage design , the front loop bar pad looks to small ( there is a set size ) plus they are on a hollow section ( heater tube can crush down )
Cage being welded to body might be a touchy point becouse the body can separate from pan , I know it will be tide in to floor pan at rear . It pays just to check .

Hi peter, I am still to weld an angle from the base plates of the hoop to the pan so it can not seperate. After i have finnished setting everything up and i am satisfied i dont need to take body of pan they will be welded in. All pipework has been set as per Andra specs and sizes.(Chromolly pipes)

next i started setting up the new steering and narrowed front beam. first the now narrowed 1 1/2 inches each side beam is reasembled into the shock tower. I had cut redrilled tortion bars to suit
