With all this cufuffle going on re subie / vw I just reckon that is one of the coolest trikes I've ever seen. 
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

As for replacement EA series engines....there are a t least 6 here in Townsville that are runners with warranty from a wreckers so they arent that
hard to get....and cheap as well.Good luck with your conversion.The Trike will also be a lot quieter when driving as well.....more comfortable for
those long trips.A guy up here is running a 2.2 with twin turbos on his but he's a bit crazy....and that always helps

Getting enquiries now. Think I've got the price right.
Think it would, be a need to eventually buy a spare engine for the backyard anyway. 10 years time it might be a problem locating one.

Yes did have the price right say anywhere from $3000-4000. With a little tweeking, cam, exhaust etc new owner will get a nice performer with virtualy
new inner motor.
