Good converson. It must be great with all that torque.

5400 in 4th is 110mph. :cool::cool:

I will be interesting to see what you come up with for a air box that takes cold air from somewhere. I have never seen anyone with one with your setup.

Smaller wheels than stock so wasn't right up there at 110mph. Needle on the speedo was well past the ton when it hit the limiter.
Often, when overtaking on a highway, I'll glance at the speedo and be amazed to see 90 since I'm only passing 2 or 3 cars. From 60mph it's much faster than any car I've driven and it doesn't creep up - it's getting more power/torque and quicker the whole way.

I hope the air box will suck from the original intake, since the filter is right near it. It will be made from galv sheet.

HypoVW doesn't recommend installing twin turbo's - something to do with my driving style/keeping me alive/the car in one piece. But more-so I need to get it back on the road.




Tuned Type IV power - shaking out the rust.
