I personally think that there are many more people who should be nominated. I would nominate them myself, except that I have already nominated two people. As such, I'd prefer if we waited for more nominations before voting.

We have some excellent aussieveedubbers in every section of this forum, and they contribute quite a bit to it to either inform or entertain (or sometimes both) the rest of us. I wouldn't want any of them to be overlooked.

Anyone who hasn't nominate yet, please choose somebody who hasn't been nominated already. I'd like to see at least 4 more people in the running, minimum.

As for the oil drippers, I don't believe they qualify, as 'aussieveedubber' implies singularity.

Oh, and I agree with Brad, Andrew should be included. :thumb

Nobody said you couldn't nominate yourself, I guess, so that would mean that you're in the running.

I'm not sure when voting is going to begin, we'll have to wait for the administrators to decide. I'm sure they'll let us know soon. :)

nuther one

another helpful bastard for nomination:
blue74L

he also has a REAL name, but due to notoriety and obscene phonecalls prefers to operate in secrecy, like batman, but with a flanno instead of a rubber suit.
and his batmobile has more class :D

First vote goes to Tazz.....I think he has been overlooked and that he always has a great deal to say....

Second vote goes to Col aka Kruisin....he IS one in a million & always has time to say G'day & give advice....like Graham (11cab) said, even in his own personal crisis....love ya work Col...

2 cents

I think all suggested nominations are worthy but I would also like to add a couple of other like (Dean) Grey57, lovely bloke with a great family and Anthony (BLKBUG) for supplying some identity for us in the way of shirts / hats. Thanks mate!

I concur that Colin, Brad and Andrew would be up there with any Jim nomination. But it is true that the silent majority set the atmosphere and thats why I keep coming back.

Special mention to Spook - always willing to argue the point. He may only have one vote but on the important issues he sure does make it count!

Here's a big kiss for ya honey! :kiss

I vote for 1302Steve, always ready to help anyone, especially me. Very much appreciated. We've never meet each other, yet he's always been helpful.
My other vote goes to, vw54, an absolute master. I've never met Dave either, but he's always helped me and sent me stuff that's been invaluable. This is what 'The Forum' is to me, help when it's needed.
Regards,
Mark:thumb

Please note, this is NOT THE VOTE. Voting will begin when Andrew sets up a poll for the purpose.

We're starting to see a few new nominations roll in - keep em coming. :thumb

so, one person a year means that over the next 50 years less than 5% of members can win this, so I suppose the nominations are almost as important

----KOM123----- for representing us at many diversified events & always taking mega photo's that are quickly posted on the net & kindly made available at high resolution to anybody who ask's
I am sure you can all appreciate just how much time this takes
---Andy---- for giving so much of his time to help me out of my need heads have no money mess, & the bulk help he gives everybody else where possible

Please, I need drivers side window regulator (winder mechanism) for my '54 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l266/Kombikim/avatar1.jpg

Too Kind Kim.
Not doing anything I haven't already recieved from others on the Forum :)

As for my vote:

I'll put my vote in for Buggy brad/buggy boyz and Kruzinkombi
They both are so willing to help anyone no questions asked.
I don't know many of the 'behind the scenes' people though who all need praise for their great work.
Cheers
Andy

Jen you may be a her. (god bless you for who you are). You are definitley showing more of the tech knowledge that seems to come more often from hims.
If anyone has grown and learnt from this site Jen is one.

I agree on nomination for Jen

Hey bought a pin punch today:)

Looking at them all and didn't take a pin incase I lost it. Do you think I could decide on size (it was between 2)

Rang a frined, got his answering machine:(

Rang another friend, but who had the same name as a VW friend:o Started talking about pin punches and my Bel and her trims and door handles and only got giggles:jesus Then realised. Had a good talk to a friend I haven't spoken to in a while LOL:cool:
