Cheers mate. The colour is a Volkswagen colour called 'TAXI'. This beige is lighter than the New Beetle 'Harvest Moon' Beige.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for your post - Yes they are SCAT seats. We tried cutting down the frames, but the seats were still a tad high, so we cut them to their bare
minimum in order for us to fit (6'4" Drivers) with a large rim steering wheel, just doesn't work, hence the cut.
As for the GSW, I bought the carpet in a roll and then had them custom made to fit the car by a company here in Sydney (Name escapes me, but I'll
email you later this week with their name/number, if you'd like).
Cheers,
Trevor.

Thanks Mike.
I bought the Mexican seals online from vwparts.net, (which has just changed its' name to piersideparts.net) - as nobody seemed to sell them in
Sydney.
The carpet I bought from Classic British & German, (which has also just changed its' name to Prostitch), here in Sydney and then had the carpet
custom made from the 5m roll at a great little auto interior shop in Camden - who believe it or not has also just changed its' name .
Cheers,
Trevor.

The car was painted by Lee at Lee's Paint and Panel in a narellan (02) 46470611 and the carpet was done by XTRIM in Smeaton Grange (next to Narellan)

Thanks - Yes I am thrilled with the result, almost as thrilled as i was to get it out of the garage and into the light today. A lot of people had some
really nice things to say about the car, which stunned me. A great day out .
Thanks again and chat soon,
Trevor.

Thanks Paul - yes the car lives very near you, at my folks, where it has been going through its' metamorphosis.
The exhaust is definitely going to make an exit, as it is just impractical and that way I can lower the rear of the car, back to where it was.
I'll let you know when the car is on the road in the next few days/weeks and we can catch up.
Great to chat today.
Cheers,
Trevor.
