As of yesterday the '63 is all registered and on the road now. Went very smoothly without a hitch. Stoked on how good it is to drive as well. Now
it's time to enjoy it. I also got the same plates it had when it was found down near Adelaide back in the day. Finishes off the story of it returning
back home to Australia nicely I thought. More pics to come soon.

When the hell is this rain gonna stop? Every chance I get to take it out, it's bloody raining. I have only driven it once yet, itching to take it

Perfect weather up here today so took the '63 out for a spin. Clocked up some good kilometres in it too. Gotta say it drives like a dream, so stoked.
Dropped in to see Alan at Das Resto Haus for a chin wag, thanks for the chat Alan. Then popped up to Manly to see a friend & grabbed some fish
'n' chips by the bay. Took the opportunity to get some happy snaps by the bay.
Then back home & took the '62 out for spin cause it has felt neglected of late. The '62 really has so much more power than the '63 or the '69,
so much fun to drive. So loud compared to the other two as well, love it. I got back in time to give the '69 a wash.
A great day in all. Gotta love a day that involves VW's. More planned for tomorrow as well.

Went for a cruise in the '63 today as it had been a few weeks since I had a chance to drive any of my cars. Going away to places like the states is
cool but I get withdrawal symptoms from not driving my babies. Man I love driving an VW !!
Took the chance to snap a couple pics along the way for all to share, enjoy.
Looking forward to tomorrow's cruise up the Sunshine Coast. Will take the '69 tomorrow. See some of you there.

Hey mate, not sure on exactly the colour code but here is the word from Simon Fox (the guy who built the car)
Colour is a VW/Audi 80s colour called unsuprisingly enough 'grey metallic'.
