Values
I disagree with the devaluing - I have had DC's with both seating arrangements and I far more prefer the walk through set up - particularly with
family and pets. My current DC is original with perfect seats etc so I wont be modifying it but if I had a blank canvas then I would certainly
entertain the idea.
Get into it son..
I dont know if you have seating in mind but I was looking at full leather interior out of 850 Volvo - you can pick them up cheap and modify
accordingly and they are a very comfortable seats whilst maintaining an original look.

Ian,,, mine were the last 2 she had,,, i can ask if she`ll order in another 2 for us tho , no harm in trying hey?
i`ve cut the wall out from in-between the front & rear cab-sections & just made it way lower,.,,, that way i can recline my nice new seats
& relax when i`m at main beach in Byron after a surf & breaky :-)
the I`ve also got myself (comming this arvo hopfully) a rear side door that i`ll fit into the drivers side rear of the car so i can get at the spares
& tools & water & crap stored on that side under my dog-box,,,
i`m also going to fit 2x swing-out side-panels for access to the battery boxes...
Ian,,, never forget that it`s your car,,, no one elses... you can do what you want with it :-)
if you want to de-value it, then you go ahead & de-value it all you want :-)
If you want to make it more "user-friendly & comfortable" then you just go ahead & do exactly that :-)

^^^^^^^^where r your batt boxes?... are you running a dual battery set up? . I'm trying to make this a semi camper/family friendly ute with all the
mod cons, eg rear reading lights,dvd/ps3/flat screen, courtesy lights for crew cab. Like I said, this is my keeper so the budget has been raised (with
approval from the boss )
Seriously going down the road of Air Con too........
That's cool about the seats..... I'll find something along the way that will suit. Have decided on 2 front seats with a nice custom centre console
to hide various components/stuff.

Like a kinder surprise the body will just keep on 'giving' !!
I'm all for building the car that suits your needs regardless of the value adding/devalueing equation. I will be trimming my divider so I can recline
my seat a bit ( its a pain being tall sometimes). At least you are progressing unlike my build , work has me going 7 days at the moment.....

^^^^^^ it's a race then!... I am hoping to have it on the road for
Xmas camping. Once the rust is cut and welding is done I'm hoping things will go smooth.... am certainly putting in a triton electric rear window in
this one, got the cash put aside for that already

info
...what do they mean when they state "cab door with bulge" & "non swage line"
EDIT. ... Hey Peter, any chance I could swing by and have a look at yr DC... as mine is in bits I'd like to see how some parts of the interior of the
cab fit together, one thing I'm looking at is trying to reduce the depth of the rear seat but really don't know if it's possible or not plus just
to look at the engine mounts and things of that nature....

going slow,my heart hasn't been in it for a month or so with just work and tracking down parts for it. It's pretty daunting as I have never done a
full ground up resto plus I got sidetracked with restoring this for a friend.
