Im also getting into racing after watching my 9 boy son race since sprockets. Started in old school on my Skyway, but just ordered a Redline cruiser.
Im in 35-39 men at Lilydale in Vic
They do keep you broke, sons kuwa owes me close to 2k, but worth it to see him progress in skills and having fun, meeting new mates etc.
You should aim to make the next Track Attack series.

have a look at the redline mx 24. Nice entry level bike. Just swap out the freewheel for a new gt ratchet freewheel. 120 points of
engagement, only 30 bucks from danscomp.
