See if ya can make double figures!!!

Matt - i'm in.

Can you ask him what we get on the print out. I liked the AF mixture but would have been "nice" to know what torque is.

Also does it register in km/hr or revs??

Now - all you peoples with IDF's single or twins.

I have a hand full of idles/mains/airs and E's

How about we all bring or spares along so as we can do some tests instead od spending $50 a pop for jet changes

Who needs to fine tune their Webers??

Yes its sad, but " a Least its economical ".
- 1. Oil change done.
-2. tappets next week.
-3. fix that extractor leak following....etc, etc

I can't wait for my 1776....

I got a neck-snapping 40.5HP out of my tired 1600.

Guess we'll see on the dyno day what the extra capacity, kadrons, big valve heads, cam and counterweighted crank add to the total....

Barry,

I'd guess around high 60s? Better to be conservative....

When the heads go on and we have some idea of compression and when the carbs are jetted it might be better to have a guess then....

Will find out in December hey...

to a Humungous 23 BHP.....
so your 1600 Matt looks Pretty good in comparison.
Cant wait till Dec.

I really really want to dyno my golf but at the moment i just don't seem to have the time to do it. it's still the 'standard' 97 engine that comes with the car...with just some changes to the leads/plugs/suspension/exhaust. waiting to do the ecu and everything else i want to (dream of)

I'm IN

I'll be there with bells on.

It will be a good comparison with my last dyno run.

And for those of you who have got big motors and havn't been on a dyno before It'll be fun to wath your faces when you hear for the first time your engine sreeming its titts off and you have no control over whats going on, believe me its scary, but rest asure its only sounds like its being reved to 10,000 rpm it'll really freek you out.

But don't worry Mike knows what he's doing and has the utmost respect for a customers car. And to prove it I'll go first.:thumb

It would be nice to maybe see a race car their too.
